RESIDENTIAL PERMITS
GOLDEN RESIDENT PERMITS
All City of Golden residents are now eligible to register for a city-wide permit that will allow residents to park for up to two hours daily in the downtown garages, surface lots and Community Center lots without registering at a kiosk or the pay-by-phone system. Residents planning to park exceeding the two hours downtown will need to Tap 'N Explore system or payment stations.
The Golden Resident Permit is in addition to a neighborhood parking permit required within certain neighborhoods.
You must register for the new resident program. Proof of address required.
DOWNTOWN & NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS
If you have an existing 2024 permit, it remains in effect and has been transitioned into the new program. You do not need to do anything for this permit.
You will need to register for a 2025 permit. Registration will be available Fall 2024.
