FREE 2 HOUR PARKING

  • Check out Map 'N Park for free parking locations (up to two (2) hours) before 5 p.m. and free parking options after 5 p.m.

  • Please read signs to see what days the 2-hour parking is in effect.

  • You do not need to register your vehicle at a pay station for these areas.

PARKING RATES

  • If you plan to stay longer than two (2) hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., there are convenient parking garages and parking lots. Check out Map 'N Park for parking locations and map out your visit.

  • The first two hours are free, and each additional hour is $2.50 up to a maximum of $10 per day.

  • Electric Vehicles must also register and pay for parking in applicable zones.

    • City of Golden charging rates are $.24/kilowatt-hour, plus $1 per 15-minute increment over three hours.​

 PARKING RULES

  • Must pay once parked. Paid parking is verified by your license plate number.

  • No need to display receipt.

  • Payment can be made using Tap 'N Explore QR code or payment station nearest to your parking space, also  shown on Map 'N Park.

Park Golden Co uses an innovative solar-powered, paperless, smart-parking system and Tap 'N Explore pay technology. Try our latest contactless technology to pay for parking right now!* The HonkMobile app is not required but available to download if you wish to create an account.​

  1. Park.

  2. Scan QR Code.

  3. Pay using Apple Pay, credit or debit card, or PayPal.

  4. Select 'Start/Complete' parking session.

  5. Go explore the City of Golden!

* Please do not pay until you are parked in a parking space. Payment does not guarantee a parking space if there are no parking spaces available.

* To avoid a parking violation, please use the QR code from the parking sign nearest your parking space.

* There is a 49 cent convenience fee added to your payment per transaction.

PAYMENT STATIONS

Park Golden offers automated, solar-powered payment stations at all pay lots and locations, making payment easy and fast at all hours.

4 STEPS TO USING PAYMENT STATIONS:
